Pseudo-fun facts: ---------------------------- For Catherine was shot on a Sony DSR 200, Canon Xl1 and a Panasonic SDX900 It was shot entirely on location in and around Asheville, North Carolina. Locations include the Director, Ethan Hunter’s old apartment, Prichard Park, College Street Grill and Pub and the parking lot of a Blockbuster Video. The script grew out of an entirely separate screenplay entitled “207” and was originally slated to take place entirely in a single dorm room. From the original “207” script, only one line survived to the final cut of the film. Ethan promised the cast and crew that principle photography would be completed in twelve weeks. He was only wrong by twenty-five months. The films running time is 107 minutes. The cast and crew burned through approximately 302400 cigarettes during production. For Catherine was budgeted at five thousand dollars. For Catherine is the first in what writer/director Ethan Hunter hopes to become a trilogy of films. Three separate couches were destroyed for the production of this film. For Catherine was cut on Final Cut Pro HD 4.5.
